We have embarked on an epic road trip, heading north to the Arctic Circle to see the northern lights. While visiting one of the many rest stops along the way, I unfortunately got a little addicted to this rest stop delicassi, the bacon pølsa. A foot long pork sausage wrapped in bacon served in a warm bun.
The first time I ever had one, I fell in love. Where had you been all my life? Why are you kept secret from the world. Who would have thought two meats are better than one.
A great close up of Vietnamese food. Very jealous of Mirra & Daniel, who were invited to visit Vietnam for three weeks tasting their way around the country. I cannot wait to explore this part of the world!
What do maggots taste like? I only ask, as I can’t remember if I tried them as a curious kid. Or, more importantly, I couldn’t tell if they do have a taste when consumed with olives.
