Ice skating at the Eiffel Tower

Visiting Paris around Christmas time was beautiful. Exploring the city, we came across an ice skating rink at the foot of the Tour De Eiffel. I thought it was so French, so Parisian I had to get a photo.

While I was tempted to put on the skates, I didn’t want to ruin the romance for everybody and turn it into a comedy. An afternoon fog was coming in and obstructing the view of the Eiffel Tower, so it wouldn’t have been the same if I couldn’t see it.
