#FriFotos – Stars: Viva Elvis at Aria, Las Vegas

This week's #FriFotos theme is Stars. My time in Las Vegas was a blur. I spent six days in Sin City & spent nearly the whole time awake having the time of my life. I was in the best seat in the house for Viva Elvis, a Cirque de Soleil show at Aria, with amazing acrobatics on show as I drift off into a deep sleep.

While my friends were sleeping, I was gambling. I could count the hours of sleep on one hand, but I pushed through wanting to experience more & more. After driving to Hoover Dam & back, I had the spectacular Cirque de Soleil show to attend, but my body had other plans. While the stars of the show were performing breathtaking manoeuvres on stage, I was drifting into a deep sleep. Watching them sway majestically through the air was hypnotic & I was quickly tilting my head back, seconds away from snoring.

I wake to an enormous roar of cheers & applause, with everyone giving a standing ovation, the people around me are having a good laugh from my ability to sleep through the show. Dazed & confused, I jump to my feet to applaud the stars of Viva Elvis more than anyone else, because thanks to them I just had the best sleep in my life!
