#beachthursday – Wagga Wagga Beach
Five hours inland from the Australian east coast is the town of Wagga Wagga, where I grew up. And on the Murrumbidgee River is a beach. Yep, a real beach. It’s nothing spectacular, but when the summer temperature soars well over 40˚C, having a place like this makes the summer infinitely more fun.
The Wagga Wagga Beach. Why go to the coast, when you have this? Taken by James Miller in January, 2012.
