After months of planning, Katie & I have decided on the route to take for The Big Trip. Good timing too! The trip begins in just a few days. The rules for this trip were very simple… There must be sunshine & we can only go in the one direction, no looking back. So with the rules set, here is the route.
April 20th, 2009 I packed my backpack & begun my new life living in London. Fast forward to today & what we have here are the closing paragraphs of a big chapter of my life. My days left in London can be counted on fingers. How do I feel? I don't know. Everything is so busy I haven't had the chance to blink.

You know that moment when you are at the check in desk, when you place your bag on the scales & hold your breath. You see the numbers rolling over rapidly, the staff serving you watch the sweat starting to appear on your forehead & decide now is the time to give you an evil smile, then that moment arrives.
Scandinavia is an expensive place to travel, especially for alcohol. But it can be cheaper. All it takes is a little local knowledge. On one of my trips to Norway we did as Norwegians do… Drive to another country to buy alcohol. It is cheaper to drive over to Sweden and back than it is to buy alcohol in Norway.
