This week’s #Frifotos theme is waterfalls. This waterfall has a strong memory for me. Yes, it was a beautiful waterfall to see on our trek across the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, but for me it was the turning point for me after suffering food poisoning the day before our trek began. It was worth it.
It’s the afternoon before departing on a four day trek across the Atlas Mountains. Where we are going, there is nothing but the earth we tread. This is the video that convinced me to travel by train through Morocco. Having visited the the country in 2010, I have been itching to get back to this amazing place. What better way to see that by train?
This week’s #FriFotos theme is EarthDay. This theme could mean so many different things, but the first thing that came into my head was trekking across the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

After a short EasyJet flight we are approaching Marrakech. It would be one of the best approaches I have had, purely because of the view out the window.
I’m not the best with money, that’s widely known by my friends. But it is even more awkward when it comes time to pay for what is about to be an amazing Moroccan trek and I don’t have any Dirham on me.
